I wanted to find something really unique and special for my daughter who was turning 12 years old. She's at that tough "tween" stage. I choose one of the brightly colored kids blankets for her birthday gift. I explained to her that no matter what was going on in her world, she could always count on not only me, but her guardian angel. And that the blanket was a special wish from me to her that she always feel protected, comforted and safe. She recently spent several days at home in bed with the flu and when I left for work I asked her if she would be okay alone.
