Birthday Stories

I wanted to find something really unique and special for my daughter who was turning 12 years old. She's at that tough "tween" stage. I choose one of the brightly colored kids blankets for her birthday gift. I explained to her that no matter what was going on in her world, she could always count on not only me, but her guardian angel. And that the blanket was a special wish from me to her that she always feel protected, comforted and safe. She recently spent several days at home in bed with the flu and when I left for work I asked her if she would be okay alone. She replied, "don't worry about me mom, I have my angel blanket to keep me warm!

A close friend gave my daughter an Angel's Embrace blanket for her 9th birthday. The 1st thing she noticed on the blanket were the Angels. She was unusually drawn to them. That night she carefully put the blanket over her. My daughter had been having tremendous trouble falling asleep for some time.

The next morning when she awoke, she announced that the Angel's had helped her fall asleep and watched over her through the night. She has been sleeping soundly ever since. Somehow the Angel's on the blanket gave her the calm and peace she needed.

I am forever grateful.
